‘Sattamum Needhiyum’ (Law and Justice) follows Saravanan, a notary public lawyer, who takes up the legal battle for a poor father—a man who died by suicide within the court premises while seeking justice for his daughter. Through his sharp argumentative skills and rigorous investigation, Saravanan uncovers the various mysteries buried deep within the case and brings them to light.

Much like the first season—a courtroom drama that kept viewers on the edge of their seats with fresh twists in every episode—the second season, ‘Sattamum Needhiyum 2’ (Law and Justice 2), returns as an intense courtroom drama and a fast-paced crime thriller, featuring new cases and new characters.

Police Inspector Prem is shot dead. The police register his death as a murder case and arrest four police officers as the perpetrators. However, the families of these four officers maintain that they are innocent and have absolutely no connection to the murder.

Since Varalakshmi Sarathkumar—the wife of the deceased police inspector—is a prominent lawyer and is determined to ensure that the four arrested police officers are punished, other lawyers are refusing to come forward to represent the accused.

In this situation, Saravanan—an ordinary lawyer—steps forward to represent four police officers. Pitted against Varalakshmi, a formidable and highly skilled attorney, Saravanan attempts to defeat her by presenting meticulous evidence. ‘Sattamum Needhiyum 2’ (Law and Justice 2) unfolds with numerous twists, exploring the legal battle between the two and revealing who ultimately triumphs—and on whose side the truth truly lies.

Saravanan, who plays an ordinary lawyer, brings great strength to the series through his understated performance; he skillfully handles cases using evidence, often leaving the opposing side flustered. He effectively dismantles the strong arguments of the opposition with his own compelling evidence, and in a pivotal scene where he reflects with regret upon a past mistake, he earns praise for his mature acting.

Varalaxmi Sarathkumar delivers a commanding performance as a skilled lawyer who, despite harboring a fierce, murderous rage toward those who killed her husband, manages to keep her emotions in check within the courtroom. She excels in scenes where she leaves the opposing side flustered with her sharp legal arguments, and she poignantly conveys her inner turmoil when the culprits manage to evade justice despite the evidence presented.

Premkumar, who plays the husband of Varalaxmi Sarathkumar; Lavanya, who portrays Saravanan’s junior; and Kavitha Bharathi, Aaru Bala, and College Vinoth, who appear as the corrupt police officers—all of them have significantly strengthened the series through their excellent contributions.

S.Gokulakrishnan’s cinematography offers a unique visual language. Every camera angle and arrangement of light and shadow powerfully conveys the intensity of the story and the emotions of the characters.

Vipin Bhaskar’s background score effectively conveys the characters' emotional performances, the dialogues delivered during courtroom arguments, and the impassioned acting of the lawyers to the audience, while also heightening the overall intensity of the series.

Although the core premise—a murder and the circumstances behind it—can be summed up in a single line, R.Adhiswaran has structured the scenes in such a way that, at the end of every episode, the question "What happens next?" is sure to arise in the minds of the viewers.

Although the story is simple, Balaji Selvaraj and Pradeep Marian—who wrote the screenplay for the web series—have ensured that every episode moves along without any lulls.

Director Balaji Selvaraj has skillfully handled the twists in the series; even though most of the scenes take place in a courtroom, it remains impossible to guess whether the death was a murder or a suicide. At one point, the screenplay and the unfolding events lead the audience to believe it is a murder, only for a sudden twist to suggest it might actually be a suicide. Then, in the following episode, yet another twist emerges—refuting that theory as well—keeping the narrative highly engaging throughout.

Verdict : ‘Sattamum Neethiyum 2’ Repets the edge of your seat, just like the first season.

Three friends—Kishore (Dravid Selvam), Karupatti (Anjali Nair), and Dash (Deepak)—find themselves staying in a scientific facility called the "Black Hole" after being suspended from college. Unable to leave, they observe the outside world through a drone. During this, Kishore spots Angel Pakruthi (Siddhi Idnani) and falls in love with her. This romance is opposed by Pakruthi’s grandmother, a witch (Devadarshini), who eventually traps Kishore and his friends inside her magical fortress. Meanwhile, a mysterious serial killer is on the loose in the city, and the police are hot on his trail. The climax unfolds in a lively and entertaining manner, revealing the fate of the friends trapped by the witch and the outcome of the hunt for the serial killer.

The director envisioned what it would be like to bring to life the stories we grew up with—tales of witches, flying saucers, and fairies, or the adventures found in comic books—and has successfully translated that vision onto the screen.

While films for children are a rarity in Tamil cinema, Hollywood frequently produces movies—much like those from the world of Disney—specifically tailored for a younger audience. *Drones* has been crafted in that very same spirit.

The first half of the film serves primarily as an introduction, while the second half—leading up to the climax—is fast-paced, vibrant, and filled with magical tricks, making for a highly engaging and spectacular experience.

The film’s primary settings are a science laboratory—referred to as the "Black Hole"—and the home of the witch. The film’s art director has strengthened the visuals by incorporating intriguing objects and miniature sets, which the director and cinematographer have utilized to great effect.

Dravid Selvam, known for his appearances in the 'Parithabangal' episodes by Sudhakar Gopi, makes his debut as a lead actor in *Drones*. He has made excellent use of this opportunity, delivering a well-rounded performance that encompasses dance, acting, and comedy.

Siddhi Idnani, who plays the character of an ethereal being named 'Pakruthi', is truly a vision of beauty. In certain scenes, she showcases remarkable versatility—reminiscent of Vikram’s performance in *Anniyan*—proving herself to be a powerhouse of acting.

Devadarshini, portraying an old witch, gives a commanding performance. Her poignant breakdown in the climax—where she laments that no one in this world has ever truly loved her—is deeply moving.

Sathish (known as 'Cinema-wala Sathish'), who takes on the role of a detective-like inspector hunting for a serial killer, provides plenty of laughs—from his constant lamenting about not having a girlfriend to a surprising, unexpected decision he makes in the climax. Anjali Nair, Kuroshi, and RJ Deepak have also done justice to their respective roles.

The film is produced by G.M. Morgan.

The music by Hari S.R. effectively supports the visuals.

Jayanth Sethu Madhavan’s cinematography captures the scenes with striking clarity.

Director R. Raghav Mirdath—who previously garnered attention with *Bun Butter Jam*—has crafted this film for both children and adults. He sheds light on the blind, superficial nature of modern romance, where young people often base their love on factors like skin color.

Verdict : Drones sets aside of worries and fun-filled time with your childs.

*Starring - Dr.Amar Ramachandran, Bala Singh, Neha Amar, Nimisha Nambiar, Deepak, Padmaja Amar, Nihal, Gurudhakshina and others.*

*Directed by Abhilash G. Dev*

*Producer - Neni Entertainments Pvt Ltd*

The story is set in 2008, during the final phase of the war in Tamil Eelam. Amar Ramachandran, having lost his wife to the conflict, is haunted by the constant loss of life around him; he fears that he might lose his daughter or that she might be left orphaned if he were to die. Consequently, he decides to entrust his daughter to his wife's relatives in Tamil Nadu, planning to reclaim her once the situation stabilizes—provided he survives.

Amar makes the perilous sea journey to Tamil Nadu with his daughter, overcoming numerous obstacles, only to find himself unable to hand her over to the relatives as planned. Left with no other option, he begins living on the roadside, where locals extend a helping hand. With their assistance, hope begins to bloom in his heart that he might secure a fearless life and a bright future for his daughter. However, before this hope can fully take root, fate intervenes, and his worst fears come true. *Thainilam* tells the story of that tragic turn of events in a heart-wrenching manner.

While many films addressing the genocide in Tamil Eelam and the atrocities faced by Tamils in Sri Lanka have been released in Tamil Nadu, this film powerfully portrays—through its visual storytelling—the anguish of children left destitute after losing their parents to war.

In the climax, director Abilash G. Devan compels the audience to reflect on the painful lives and uncertain futures of children affected by war—not just in Tamil Eelam, but across the globe. Amar Ramachandran, playing the protagonist, reflects the plight of war-affected people through his physical appearance and expressive eyes; his performance allows the audience to truly feel the harrowing existence these individuals endure every moment.

Neha Amar, who plays the role of Amar Ramachandran’s daughter, Tamilani, speaks very little; yet, her fearful eyes and weary face vividly bring to mind the image of children traumatized by the conflict.

Bala Singh portrays a noble figure who extends a helping hand to the refugees, viewing them simply as fellow human beings; his character offers immense solace to the Sri Lankan Tamils arriving in Tamil Nadu with hope.

From the fishermen who rescued those adrift at sea and the police inspector who respected their wishes rather than sending them to a refugee camp, to the auto-rickshaw drivers, the imposing man with the large mustache who turns out to be helpful, and the school headmaster who believes that compassion can overcome legal constraints—every character in the film is a positive individual who instills hope in ordinary people.

Cinematographer Prashanth Pranav’s work, while understated, skillfully conveys the profound emotions of the Eelam people to the audience. The climax scene—featuring the young girl walking with a tear-streaked face and powder applied to her cheeks—is particularly noteworthy; it feels authentic and brilliantly encapsulates the film's entire message in a single moment.

Ouseppachan’s music breathes life into the scenes and the characters' emotions. Through his restrained yet evocative score, the composer articulates sentiments that words alone could not express. Although editor Teejo P. Varghese employs a slow-paced narrative style, he successfully etches the core message and the underlying pain deeply into the viewers' minds.

Writer-director Abilash G. Devan has effectively used visual storytelling to convey the anguish and cries of children orphaned by the genocide in Tamil Eelam.

Despite minor flaws in cinematography, acting, and background elements, director Abilash G. Devan powerfully highlights the plight of children left devastated after losing their parents to war through the film's climax.

*Thainilam* tells the story of that tragic turn of events in a heart-wrenching manner.
