Review : 

Sagaptham film directed by Surendran and produced by L. K. Sudhish. Shanmuga Pandian, the son of actor Vijayakanth, has made his debut as a hero with "Sagaptham".  Neha Hinge and Shubra Aiyappa in the leading roles. Ranjith, Devayani, Bose Venkat, Suresh, Thalaivasal Vijay, Powerstar Srinivasan and others in the cast. The Story was written by Naveen krishna. Music was composed by Karthik Raja. Cinematography was handled by S.K. Bhupathi. Editings works handled by S.P. Ahmed. The Movie produced under the banner of Captain Cine Creations.

The Story starts from Madurai, where Shanmugapandian leads a gentle life. Jagan accompanies him as his friend over the play. Love sequence is not extended with any chasing with the reason that the female lead is his own cousin. Power star joins the film as Malaysia return.. and stimulating Shanmugapandiyan to travel towards abroad to bag more money.  Actress Devayani's husband was cheated by some
agents in abroad.

With that note Shanmugapandian and Jagan were flying abroad. With no other twits they were also cheated and Shanmugapandian trace them. From there Shanmugapandiyan gets a job in a detective agency. What happens next? How shanmugapandian finds Devayani's husband?

Director Surendran's screenplay, dialogues, characterizations and logic are a big downer. Shanmugapandian dances well but he should definitely work on his dialogue delivery. The two heroines Neha Hinge and Shubra Aiyappa are mere glam dolls and their lip sync is just pathetic.Jagan, Srinivasan, Singampuli and others have done their roles admirably well. Veterans such as Thalaivasal Vijay, Ranjith and Devayani have done neat jobs. Vijayakanth makes a cameo appearance. Karthik Raja’s music is okay. S. K. Bhupathi Cinematography is good.
