Sarjun, who shot to fame and controversies with his much acclaimed and talked about directorial ‘Lakshmi’ has come up with his next short film titled ‘Maa’ produced by ‘Ondraga Entertainment’. ‘Maa’ talks about how a middle class mother of a 15 year old daughter handles a very delicate situation and guides her daughter out of a crisis. ‘Maa’ has been receiving very positive reviews and social media is abuzz with the talks about it. 

Talking about ‘Maa’ director Sarjun says, “ ‘Maa’ is written in the perspective of a mother. I am always drawn towards strong and bold women characters. ‘Maa’ is about one such mother. This short film has the core of “Children should be brought into the world not in fear, but in joy “. I narrated two short film scripts to Gautham sir out of which we decided to do this. I am very happy and proud to have done ‘Maa’ and thank Gautham menon sir, Reshma ma’am and Venkat sir for supporting me and my work so much right from ‘Lakshmi’ itself. “
