Vimal takes a job as an assistant to Shreya, a high-ranking executive at a London-based company. Although he is a gold-medalist engineering graduate, Vimal—who works for Shreya to launch an app he developed—finds himself deeply affected by her volatile temper.

Meanwhile, Shreya’s UK visa expires, forcing her to return to India to apply for a renewal; this situation jeopardizes her chances of securing the CEO position she is vying for. Faced with this dilemma, she decides to stage a fake marriage with Vimal—who holds permanent UK residency—to obtain residency status herself. Simultaneously, Vimal conspires with Shreya’s rival, planning to deceive her regarding the marriage and sabotage her promotion.

Vimal agrees to Shreya's scheme but imposes a condition: she must visit his parents in Tamil Nadu in person. Did Shreya succeed in her plan after traveling to Tamil Nadu with Vimal, or did Vimal’s scheme prevail? That forms the crux of the movie *Sandakari*.

Whether the setting is the Thanjavur district or London, Vimal remains consistent; while his attire changes, his appearance and acting style do not. He delivers a performance that is true to his usual form.

Shreya fits the role of an arrogant, short-tempered character who shows no respect for others, and she has executed the part effectively. The cast—including Prabhu (as Vimal’s father), Uma Padmanaban (as his mother), 'Punnagai Poo' Geetha (as Shriya’s friend), Sathyan, K.R. Vijaya, Rekha, Dev Gill, Crane Manohar, and Mahanadi Shankar—have all contributed significantly to the film with their seasoned performances.

Cinematographer R.P. Gurudev has beautifully captured the city of London and the Tamil village setting, while also presenting the song sequences in a vibrant, colorful manner.

Amrish’s music features melodious songs, and the background score complements the scenes effectively.

Editor Dinesh Ponraj has assembled the scenes according to the director's sequence.

Writer-director R. Madhesh has attempted to beautifully portray the romance blossoming in the heart of a woman with a fiery temper. screenplay effectively conveyed the romance to the audience. London and the Tamil village—he has delivered a wholesome commercial entertainer.

Vimal moves to London after completing his education in Tamil Nadu and obtains permanent residency through his family, even though his family remains in Tamil Nadu. Meanwhile, Shriya, who has held a high-ranking position at a major company in London for years, has not yet obtained residency.
