Kanni Maadam and Its Audio

Actor Bose Venkat makes his directorial debut through the film ‘Kanni Maadam’ featuring newcomers in lead roles. The audio launch was held this evening, which was a star-studded event. Director Bose Venkat played a perfect host in giving beautiful speech about each and everyone present on the dais and how they have been supportive in making this film and shaping his professional life.

Actor Robo Shankar said, “Although, I have been a part of several audio launch functions, this is something special to me. The reason is that I have made my debut as playback singer with this film. I thank music director Hari Sai  for giving an opportunity and Robo Shankar Anna for this beautiful moment. He has played a vital role in each and every point of my life and I can’t thank him enough for this. He had narrated me the story many years ago and I felt it more engrossing. I am sure; Bose Venkat Anna will become a successful filmmaker and make more movies. I am happy that he has paid his tribute to the profession of autorickshaw driver through this film as he started his life in Chennai through this.”

Actor Vijay Sethupathi said, “I wish everyone Valentine Day. Bose Venkat sir has been such a personality, where he inspires with his look. I have known him from the days of TV serial ‘Metti Oli’. He has got a charismatic face, where if someone broken or dashed down with hopes looks at his face will gain strength. I couldn’t make it for the screening of songs, but I am sure with the way everyone spoke here that it’s going to be a unique and phenomenal movie. Kanni Madam will be a promising film and I wish the entire team for great success.”

Director Vikraman said, “These days, content driven films made at shoestring budget are benefitting everyone in the trade circles than the big budgeted movies that are putting the traders at risk. I can easily sense that Kanni Maadam has all the potentials to make an impressive impact commercially and critically as well.”

Actor Samuthirakani said, “Director Bose Venkat has been always passionate about films and every time, we have met across the years, there hasn’t been anything more than films. I am sure, he is going to rock with his directorial journey. When I came here, I was praying that the songs should be excellent and found it appropriately perfect as I envisaged.”

Actor Bharath said, “Bose Venkat and I have been more like brothers across the years. There’s always something miraculous when a film is shot at shoestring budget. Everyone would be very much focused on delivering the good output with such conditions and Kanni Maadam has evidentially showcased such an instance.”

Veteran Dindugal I Leoni said, “Across the years, very few actors have dedicated the films for auto drivers and rickshaw drivers. It was evident with MGR and Sivaji Ganesan followed by Superstar Rajinikanth in ‘Baasha’. Now Bose Venkat has credited such a tribute of loveable gesture towards the auto-rickshaw drivers. Bose Venkat has delivered a good content and it will be surely received well by everyone and I wish them a good success.”

Actor Sreeram Karthik said, “Bose Venkat sir and I shot together for a film and during that moment, he promised that I will be playing the lead role in his movie. Surprisingly, he kept up his promise and has made me a hero. It’s a dream come true for me and I thank each and everyone in the team of Kanni Maadam for making my wish happen.”

Lyricist Viveka said, “As soon as I heard the script narrated by Bose Venkat on phone, I got fascinated and instantly decided to pen the lyrics. Very next day morning, visited his office and heard the complete story. Bose Venkat has delivered a commendable content that will find a big reception and his journey as a filmmaker will be a successful venture.”

Cinematographer Iniyan said, “The film had to be completed in a short span of time, where I was really tensed. I was wedged between such a pressure that once I asked the producer Hasheer himself to move out of the ambience without knowing who he is. I apologize for such a behaviour and he has been so much friendly towards the entire team, which has resulted in the good output.”
