Director Pandiraj High On Praises Of Director Vijay’s ‘Watchman’

There are few compliments that cross beyond the lines of formality and precisely stand out to be an unconditional praise from bottom of hearts. Especially, to have such compliments extended for a clean family entertainer from a filmmaker like Pandiraj, who has always been the maker of pure movies decorating the family emotions and relationship. This is all about the words of praises from the filmmaker after watching director Vijay’s Watchman featuring GV Prakash in lead role alongside Yogi Babu and a Golden Retriever. 

Sharing his words of appreciation, director Pandiraj says, “Watching director Vijay’s Watchman was an amazing experience that had the perfect blend of Suspense, Thriller and Comedy. I enjoyed each and every scene. The screenplay was really interesting that involved unexpected surprising twists. Both GV Prakash and Yogi Babu have given their best and in particular, I liked the dog’s activities. The technical department has done a groovy job. Be it cinematography, editing or re-recording, everything is so nicely done.” 

On his part, director Vijay says, “It’s bliss to get such appreciations from a filmmaker like Pandiraj sir. Especially, to have praises for an attempt like Watchman becomes a major strength for the film. He has become an integral part of family audiences for his consistent making of films that are based on family dramas and emotions. I am really happy that he enjoyed our film and the credit goes to everyone in the team from GV Prakash, Yogi Babu to all technicians and our loveable Golden Retriever.” 

Watchman is produced by Arun Mozhi Manickam for Double Meaning Productions. GV Prakash Kumar has composed music for this film, which has cinematography handled by Nirav Shah and Saravanan Ramasamy. Anthony has taken care of editing and lyrics are written by Arunraja Kamaraj with A Rajesh as the Art Director and Manohar Verma has choreographed stunts. 

Featuring GV Prakash, Suman and Raj Arun in the star-cast, the film is scheduled for worldwide release on April 12, 2019.
