Hotel Transylvania 3: A Monster Vacation-Releasing on July 20th


Hotel Transylvania (2012) was an animated horror comedy in 3D which narrated the tale of Count Dracula the owner of Hotel Transylvania where the world's monsters can take a rest from human civilization & what happened when the human-free hotel was visited by a human traveler was the crux of the plot! Hotel Transylvania 2 (2015) was a sequel with the script set 7 years later when the hotel is open to human guests! Get ready for the 3rd part the screenplay of which has been set some months later…

SYNOPSIS -
The story centers on Dracula (Adam Sandler), Mavis (Selena Gomez) Dracula’s daughter, Johnny (Andy Samberg), husband of Mavis & the rest of their family, both human & monster & of course their friends all of whom take a vacation on a luxury Monster Cruise Ship! Dracula gets attracted to the ship's mysterious captain Ericka (Kathryn Hahn). What Dracula doesn't know is that Erika is secretly the great-granddaughter of Abraham Van Helsing (Jim Gaffigan), the notorious monster slayer and Dracula's ancient archenemy. Now it is time for Mavis to be the leader of the "Drac Pack" and rally up everyone so they can stop Erika and save Dracula, before it's too late! The sequences that follow when a vacation provider takes a vacation & gets into trouble!

Artists from 43 different countries have worked on this film. After completing the 2nd part, director Genndy Tartakovsky's went with his family to a cruise vacation where he saw other families interact on what felt like a hotel on the water, he was inspired to write a script for a 3rd film!
In the Bermuda Triangle sequence, one may spot several actual famous boats that allegedly disappeared in the mysterious location!

The movie was storyboarded over a period of 15 months and artists created a total of 90,000 story panels; of those only 10,000 panels actually made it in the movie.
In the short film Puppy, released a while ago, Mavis can be seen reading the travel brochure for the actual cruise ship from Hotel Transylvania 3, months before it was officially revealed to the public!
One of the ships in the Bermuda Triangle was named after director Genndy Tartakovsky's wife,
Dawn.
