Roshan Bashir-Smruthi Venkat couple moves into a new apartment with their son. Smruti Venkat is happy as she remembers her long-held dream of owning her own home. On the other side, Roshan Basheer's officemate Sneha Gupta makes occult attempts to reach him and places a bewitched doll in his house. Meanwhile, Smruti Venkat, who is alone, faces various supernatural problems when Roshan Bashir goes abroad on business.
A spirit confined in the house suddenly comes out and tries to drive Smruti Venkat away by threatening him and saying, “This is my house, I will not allow anyone here”. Who is that soul?, What is the connection between the bewitched doll and that soul?, Did Smruti Venkat save her house and child from that supernatural force? Isn't it? That is the rest of the story of the film.
Sonia Aggarwal, who is traveling as the important turning point of the film, has acted by realizing her role.
Smruti Venkat, who plays the other heroine of the film, captures the attention by handling the role perfectly and can score all the emotions like love, longing, fear and courage.
Roshan Basheer, who plays Smruthi Venkat's husband, has traveled as a singer with one song with his wife and one song with his office friend, but has not even looked into the script. He makes a brief appearance in the script in just one scene, after which he flies off again.
While Sneha Gupta, who plays Roshan Basheer's office mate, tries magic and sorcery to get the desired person, it is a big disappointment that it all turns into a comedy area in the subsequent scenes.
Music director Siddharth Vipin's score is okay, though the songs and background music are okay, but the horror scenes could have been more menaced for the background music. Although Siddharth Vipin doesn't get attention as a music composer, he does attract attention as an actor. Moreover, his acting as a villain mixed with comedy is enjoyable.
Those who have played other roles like Subramania Siva and Kalki have not been given any meaningful work and have been used as props.
Cinematographer Khanna has tried to scare the fans by showing only the apartment and the house number 7G inside it. While many of the scenes scare fans as he intended, others travel very casually and go unnoticed.
Haroon, who has written, directed and produced the film, tells the horror story in a conventional format, but uses elements like black magic to attract attention. The one who takes us into the story at the very beginning of the film with black magic, also makes the audience expect that he is going to tell something big in the subsequent scenes.
Even though the expectations created by the director and some of the scenes related to it make the art beat of the fans jump, but without extending it more than a certain extent, he attracts the attention of the children by showing the occult as a toy in a way that children can see.
The film '7G Rainbow Colony' became the most important film in actress Sonia Aggarwal's screen life. While 7G is not the same, it is not a bad movie, but a good entertaining horror movie for all.
All in all, this '7G' is an old house, but it has been redesigned and made to be enjoyed.
