ZEE5 announces the World Digital Premiere of Bommai Nayagi

National, 10th March 2023: ZEE5, India’s largest home-grown video streaming platform announced the world digital premiere of Bommai Nayagi. The platform today announced Bommai Nayagi a story about an emotional connection between a father and a daughter and how politics and society impact their way of life. The movie stars an ensemble cast of Yogi Babu, Harikrishnan Anbudurai, Subatra, and Srimathi in the lead roles. With an IMDb rating of 9.5, the audience can stream the movie on ZEE5 starting today. 

Produced by Pa. Ranjith’s Neelam Production & Yaazhi Films, the film also stars G. M. Kumar, Aruldoss, and Lizzie Antony. The film revolves around Velu [Yogi Babu] a very simple and innocent person who is uncertain about protests and usually wants to stay away from the political and social problems. He is a family man and works at a tea shop in Cuddalore and everything around him revolves around his small family. When everything appears to be moving in the right direction and taking him closer to his dreams of owning a tea shop, a very horrific incident ruins his life. His daughter, Bommai Nayagi is sexually assaulted by two influential upper-caste men during the festive season. What happens to a simple man who has to fight the social injustice and faults in the judicial system? Will he and his daughter come out victorious?
