Review : 

Adhe Kangal romantic thriller film written and directed by Rohin Venkatesan and produced by C. V. Kumar. The film features Kalaiyarasan, Janani Iyer and Sshivada in the leading roles with Bala Saravanan in a supporting role, while Ghibran composes the film's music.

The Story around Varun (Kalaiyarasan), a visually challenged chef, into whose life walks Deepa (Sshivada), who is right out of the movie heroine handbook — good-looking, vulnerable and most importantly, feels it is her duty to help the poor. Varun’s friend Sadhana (Janani Iyer) has a soft spot for him and his parents decide to fix up a match between them. Meanwhile, Deepa asks Varun to help her family, which is in financial trouble, but before he can do that, he meets with an accident. Fortunately, he is safe, and not only that, he gets his vision back. However, Deepa is missing, and given that no one in Varun’s circle has seen, can he trace her whereabouts?

Kalaiyarasan has done a neat job and justifies his character while Sshivada Nair has a terrific opportunity here. She sinks her teeth into the character and surprises us. Janani Iyer looks very pretty and her matured romantic bit with Kalaiyarasan. Bala Saravanan have delivered some laughter, he had his job perfect. He has used the space given to him perfectly. The glossy cinematography of Ravivarman gives an ad film feel. The backbone of Adhe Kangal is its intriguing story and Ghibran’s background scores and songs. Director Rohin Venkatesan has come out with a clean crime thriller with some unexpected twists and turns.
