My father is my Inspiration - Trisha Illana Nayanthara Director Aadhik

“Every father wants to see their kids succeeding in the profession they choose. No wonder the child is working hard to fulfill his father’s dream and make him proud. The Shooting spot of “ Trisha Illana Nayanthara” showed us a father who works to see his son a successful and a proud son who wants father’s dream to be true. Director Aadhik Ravichandran who is debuting as Director with the film “Trisha Illana Nayanthara” and his Father Ravi Kandasamy who is working as his assistant director is the inspiring duo.

“My father is my inspiration. Parents never want their kids to be studious and not to waste time in Cinema. I grew up seeing my father struggling as an assisitant director. He have worked under many directors like Bharathiraaja sir and Selvamani sir for the past 16 years. It got the determination in me that I should be a director one day. I chose my own avenues to make it. I narrated ‘Trisha Illana Nayanthara’ to GV Prakashkumar now I am directing my debut film. If the destiny was to have one director  from my home as of now i got it and hope fully when my dad directs a film in future i might contribute my ideas too , if he wishes.” says debut director Aadhik Ravichandran  with the confidence of having his experienced father as an associate beside him.

“Aadhik always has been  a  match winner, he approaches things with confidence. This make him achieve his goal. He was more aggressive than i was and it paid him the film in the initial stages itself. Now I am very proud to say that am working as a assistant director to my son. After all our mythology spoke lot about Murugan and the mantra he taught to his father. I am also learning it from my son ” Says the prideful and duty conscious Assistant director Ravi Kandhsamy.
