Review : 

Naangellam Edagoodam is the first movie of Kurundhudayar Production. The movie is produced by Nirmal Devadas and written and directed by Vijaykumar. The film is being directed by R.Vijayakumar and Charles Melvin is the music composer. The film stars Manoj Devadas, Veena Nair, George Vijay, Visakar, Rajesh, Balaji and others.

The story is fully based on North madras. Hero Manoj Devadoss, from childhood he had a wish to become a good boxer. His parents died in his childhood period, at that time a Boxing Trainer George Vijay, who lives in the same area took him and grown up as an good Boxer. Rajesh, who is a big don in the same area, who plays a game regarding the boxer and gets money from that. One day, in the same area a boxing competetion was happened. Rajesh who asked George Vijay to give a weak boxer to particpate in his game, Rajesh already have a strong boxer, this is only because George Vijay got some money from Rajesh, so Rajesh asked George Vijay to compensate by this. 

In between this, Hero Parvathhi Suresh loves Manoj. So George Vijay thought to send a good boxer Balaji, but he knows that he definetely win the game, so he sent Hero Manoj, who has less experience in this game, but unfortunately Hero wins the game. This makes Rajesh anxious. To compensate the money got from Rajesh, George again conducts a game between Manoj and other boxers from Rajesh and also tells that if he fails in this game he would not get back into the boxing game hereafter and this was a deal between George and Rajesh. Is the Hero wins the game or not, the film goes.

Manoj may even show attention towards to his acting. Heroine was okay in her part. Villain role by Rajesh and boxing trainer George vijay roles are appreciable. Charles music not bad. Totally, the film was somewhat lacking.
