The police, which is in a state of panic after four people are murdered in this way, forms a special team led by Inspector Shivatha. The higher-up advises not to include Samuthirakani in the team.

However, Shivatha, who knows about Samuthirakani, joins the team and investigates the murder case, Samuthirakani discovers the truth that two people committed the murders, and that they killed not four people, but more than 60 people.

The police team that goes into the field to catch the faceless killers, using the fact that the man's waist chain and the woman's thali chain were taken away as the main evidence, did not steal any money or jewelry from the houses of the murdered people. How did the police team catch them? What is the background to their serial murders? ‘Thadayam’ tells this with various twists and turns and with the backdrop of a chilling true incident.

Director Naveenkumar Palanivel, who draws the audience into the story by presenting a brutal murder scene at the very beginning of the first part, unravels the mystery of who committed the murder in the second episode, what is the reason for the murder, the background of their serial murders, and how the Tamil Nadu Police found and arrested them in the subsequent episodes in a shocking manner.

Samuthirakani, who plays the hero of the series, has played many police-related characters, but he is showing himself to be new in this one. Samuthirakani, who has played a person who has reached the peak of despair due to the bitter incidents he has faced in the department, has also physically expressed the nature of the character. In addition to approaching the murderers through his sharp thinking, his investigation method of discovering the hidden truths of their serial murders one by one, and his performance in it attract attention.

Shivatha, who plays the role of a police inspector, looks beautiful even in a khaki uniform. She has done justice to the character with her modest performance and has traveled in a way that adds strength to the flow of the screenplay.

Raj, of 'Pushpa' fame, has intimidated with his eyes and mannerisms. His gaze alone makes the audience tremble, and all his actions make them scream. Prem, who plays his younger brother, has also done a frightening job in his role.

Munaru Ramesh, who plays a high-ranking police officer, Sundarapandyan, Kotravai, Vishakan, Pulipandi, Abhishek Joseph George, Ravichandran, Karthi, Subarna, Dayalan, who has played other characters, have also done their job well.

The work of the technical artists including KK's cinematography, Vipin Bhaskar's music, Dinesh Kumar's editing, Manikandan Chandrasekhar's art direction has added great strength. The location, vehicles, houses and colors of the story set in 1999 have been meticulously handled.

Written and directed by Naveenkumar Palanivel, the true incident and its background have been described in a very detailed manner, and the shocking incidents in it have been narrated in each episode in a way that arouses the interest of the audience.

Although the mysterious knots are unraveled in the first two parts, the mysterious knots that are tied after that keep the audience on the journey with the question and suspense of what will happen next until the final episode.

Verdict : Thadayam will mark Thadam in crime thriller series and captivate the audience.
