Popular as a word to call loved ones through social media including TikTok, ‘Pookie’ has spread like wildfire among lovers and has emerged as a powerful word to express love for each other. One such Pookie love couple, Hero Ajay Dhishan and Heroine R K Dhanusha, get separated due to a minor ideological conflict between them.

Even though the lovers are separated, they are unable to accept the separation. Both of them make various efforts to escape from the pain of their love breakup. But when it ends in failure, they come to the mindset that the cure for the pain of love breakup is another love. Accordingly, both of them travel towards different loves, did that love put an end to their love breakup pain? Or not?, it is ‘Pookie' who tells the story with a youthful tone.

Director Ganesh Chandra has tried to vividly tell the life of the youth of the time, facing the love breakup and the present, and has tried to record the fact that the feeling of love does not change at any time.

Ajay Dhishan, who plays the hero, impresses with his vibrant performance. He does justice to his character by expressing many emotions throughout the film, such as the struggle of not being able to face the pain of love breakup, traveling to other places to get rid of it and being affected by it. He acts with moderation in many emotional scenes and attracts attention. In particular, the scene her's father speaks disparagingly about his father, and the scene where he sees the happiness on his father's face after fulfilling his father's dream. His voice is also majestic. He has proven to be an actor who fits perfectly into all roles.

R.K. Dhanusha, who plays the heroine, captivates with her simple beauty. She is very good at acting as a heroine. Also she is good at dancing. She acts very boldly in tense scenes, making you wonder who this girl is.

Pandiarajan, Sunil, Lakshmi Manju, Indumathi Manikandan, Aditya Kathir, Vivek Prasanna, Black Pandi, Bigg Boss Sathya, M.J. Sriram, Radha, Ashwin Ram, Shiyara Sharma, and Priyanka have done their job flawlessly.

Although the story, screenplay and dialogue of the Puthiya Parithi humorously portray the pain of a breakup, the audience ultimately feels the depth of the pain of love. The writing of the Puthiya Parithi is in a way that the youth of today can relate to whether the cure for the pain of love failure is another pain or love.

Ganesh Chandra, who has directed and shot the film, has tried to tell the story of a love breakup rather than a love story, set against the backdrop of the world of modern youth.

Vijay Antony, who has taken care of the editing work along with the music, has paid extra attention to both. Vijay Antony has realized how important songs are for a story that squeezes out the feelings of love and composed the music. He edited the first half as well. In the second half, he has narrated the film with interest elements and made the audience connect with the story.
