Retta Thala Movie Review
Kali (Arun Vijay) and heroine Andre (Sidhi Ithnani) are orphans in Pondicherry.
The two have been in love since childhood. However, Siddhi Ithnani is more interested in money than Arun Vijay.
Meanwhile, Upendra (Arun Vijay), a rich man who has come here from Goa, is met by Kali (Arun Vijay) and Andre (Sidhi Ithnani).
Desiring Upendra's money, who looks like Kali, Siddhi Ithnani kills Upendra (Arun Vijay) through her lover Kali (Arun Vijay).
The next day, Upendra (Arun Vijay) was released on parole from a 14-day prison sentence for murder.Meanwhile, Harish Peradi is looking for Upendra (Arun Vijay) to kill him. Kali (Arun Vijay) is shocked to know that.
In the end, did Kali (Arun Vijay) survive his enemies? Or not? Did he go to jail? Did Kali and Andre get married? Or not? That is the rest of the story of the film ‘Retta Thala’.
Arun Vijay, who plays the dual roles of Kali and Upendra, has put in a lot of hard work for it.
He has shown a difference in his acting in terms of his style, dress, speech and appearance. He is especially intimidating in action scenes.
Siddhi Itnani, who plays the female lead, perfectly fits the role of a woman who doesn't hesitate to kill for money.
The acting of Tanya Ravichandran, John Vijay, Harish Peradi, Balaji Murugadoss, and Yogi Samy, who play other characters in the film, is in keeping with the story.
The song "Kannamamma..", composed by composer Sam.CS and sung by Dhanush, is worth listening to again and again.
The background music is a huge strength of the film. DJ Tommy's cinematography is a feast for the eyes.
Director Krish Thirukumaran has created the film with the central theme of desire being the cause of destruction.
The first half of the film moves quickly, while the second half moves the story in a way that no one can guess.
