Director Gautham Ganapathy has crafted a suspense thriller centered around the cat-and-mouse game between the police and rowdies, keeping the audience engaged from start to finish.
With elections just 5 days away in Chennai, a message is sent out to people with guns to surrender them at police stations. Actor Mansoor Ali Khan hands over his gun to Lal, a head constable at Thirumazhisai police station. Meanwhile, hero Darshan joins as a training sub-inspector at the same police station.
As elections approach, notorious rowdy Sujith sends someone to deliver 10 crores to a party worker. However, the person carrying the money meets with an accident, and the money goes missing. Sujith's men start searching for the money. Lal, who had previously had an altercation with Sujith's brother Koushik, earns Sujith's enmity.
Meanwhile, the gun surrendered by the actor goes missing from the police station locker. Darshan sets out to find the missing gun. The rest of the story revolves around whether Darshan finds the gun and saves Lal from Sujith's clutches.
Darshan delivers a commendable performance as a police officer, and Lal fits perfectly into his role. The film has a great cast, including Darshan, Lal, Sujith, Munishkant, Padhini Kumar, Arool, and Ramya Ramakrishnan. The music by Vikash Padisa adds to the film's strength, and the cinematography by Meyyendran is impressive.
