Karthik (Jekavir)- Monica (Meenakshi) has been close friends from an early age during the school and travel together in college and then,

Seeing these all decide they are lovers.

But at one point, Karthik begins to love a girl named Pavithra. 

Even though he loves Pavithra. he  continued friendship with Monica. Pavithra does not like their friendship.

Pavithra tells Karthik to break his friendship with Monica. 

But Karthik breaks the love with Pavithra and said he will not give up his friendship for anyone. 

Knowing this, Monica speaks to Karthik and joins him again with  Pavithra. Suddenly Pavithra dies in an accident at this time.

Monica recovers Karthik, who is  suffering from the death of her girlfriend. Thereafter, Karthik and Monica have a wedding arrangement.
