Director Arvind Srinivasan is the director of Arulnidhi's unusual thriller Dejavu. His next film Tarunam has hit theaters worldwide tomorrow.

Pugazh and Eden produced the film under Zen Studios. Kishen Das, Smruthi Venkat, Raj Ayyappan,
Bala Saravanan , Geetha Kailasam,
Sreeja Ravi and Vimalare playing the lead roles. Music by Darbuka Siva, Cinematography by Raja Bhattacharjee and editing by Arul E Siddharth.

Hero Kishan Das, who works as a CRPF police officer, accidentally he  shoots his teammate itself in an operation and thats takes a short break from duty. Again the heroine Smruti Venkat gets into a car accident. Both of them meet at a wedding function. After that the two fall in love and this romance leads to engagement.

In this case, Smruti Venkat's friend Raj Ayyappan did not like their love.
Somehow he thinks to stop this marriage and keep Smruti Venkat himself. At that time an unexpected incident happens and what happens after that is the story of Tharunam.

Director Arvind Srinivasan has given how everyone acts in their respective moments in the form of a romantic thriller. The first half is a love story and the second half is a suspense thriller.
Tharunam film is filled with romance, fight, emotional and unexpected twists. Kishan Das, who made his debut as a hero with the film mutual nee mudivum nee plays the role of a police officer in the film.

Although initially struggling to bring the body language, he has given life to the character. His performance in the investigation scenes was good.
He acted realistically in the exciting scenes throughout the second half.
Smruti Venkat is the character of the movie and she has given an excellent performance by understanding it.
Raj Ayyappa has played a villain like character very well. It is his character that makes a turning point in the film.
Bala Saravanan as usual makes people laugh with his online punches.

Although the second half was held in the same place, it was not boring.
The main reason for that is Raja Bhattacharjee's cinematography and Arul E Siddharth's editing.
While Darbuka Siva's songs are not very impressive, the background music is composed by him is amazing.
His background score takes the film to the next level.
