Sathya Jyothi Films’ Captain Miller wins Best Foreign Film Award at the 10th UK National Film Awards


Captain Miller Creates History 

Ever since the announcement of Dhanush starrer “Captain Miller’ getting nominated under the category of ‘Best Foreign Film’ Award at 10th UK National Film Awards was made, the fans have been inquisitively inclined towards this big day to witness the triumph of this film. Significantly, the film was nominated alongside the world’s best iconic foreign films, which made the race much tougher. However, it’s time to celebrate as Sathya Jyothi Films’ ‘Captain Miller’ has bagged the honors of ‘Best Foreign Film Award’ during the prestigious 10th UK National Film Awards held at Porchester Hall in London.

Captain Miller, is presented by Producer T.G. Thyagarajan of Sathya Jyothi Films,  and is produced by Sendhil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan, with Arun Matheswaran as the director. The film is set in a historical backdrop and depicts the tale of Captain Miller, a respected fictional character from the British colonial era. Dhanush and Priyanka Mohan have performed the lead roles, with an ensemble star cast comprising Shivarajkumar, Sundeep Kishan, and other notable actors from the Indian film industry performing important characters. 

Captain Miller, won the incredible reviews from critics and cinephiles during the theatrical release and continued to strike bigger with its OTT arrival.  It clasped an important position in the Top 10 charts in 14 countries across the globe. Additionally, it was trending at the number one spot in 9 countries, including India.
