Namma Chennai Biggest Festival Inaugurated By Hon.Minister Mr. Mafoi K.Pandiarajan

Namma Chennai Festival 2019, will be organized with an objective to give an experience to the  people of Chennai on the cuisines from various regions of Tamil Nadu, cultures & traditions of Tamil Nadu  with a fusion of entertainment with carnival games and an elaborate play area for the children, during the Pongal Holidays at the MK Cricket Ground (Old Spic Ground) YMCA premises, Nandanam from 15th to 20th of January 2019. 

This event happens between 03.00 PM to 10.00 PM on the first four  days and will be from 12.00 PM to 10.00 PM on the 19th & 20th January 2019. 

On the 15th of January 2019, the event is been inaugurated by Hon. Minister for Tamil Language and Tamil Culture, Mr. Ma Foi K Pandiarajan. 

As part of the events On the 15th of January 2019 , several cultural activities like mayilattam, oyilattam, Poi kal Kuthirai, Tharai Thappatai and mallar kambam were performed to entertain the audience. They will also be performed at the event on all the 5 days.More than 15000 people are expected to participate in the event in the 6 day period.
