5th Annual ‘World Tamilar Festival’ Held In Grandeur at Chennai


5th Annual World Tamilar Festival’ & Global Organisation of Tamil Origin Meet was held in grandeur @Kalaivanar Arangam, Chennai on 5th & 6th Jan 2019. Worldwide Tamil Entrepreneurs, Educationalists, Vice- Chancellors, Industrialists, Scientists & more Tamil Legends from different Countries made their honorable presence.

Thiru Banwarilal Purohit, Hon’ble Governor of Tamilnadu made his esteem presence for INAUGURATION & Hon’ble Shri Justice. P. Sathasivam, Honorable Governor of Kerala for CLOSING CEREMONY.

Thiru Selvakumar, Organizer of ‘World Tamilar Festival’ announced the Resolutions of Conference as requisitions to State & Central Government as follows:

1.      Government of Tamil Nadu, should establish a separate concern for the welfare of the Tamilians living in foreign countries.

2.      In order to Express and address the concerns of the foreign tamilians, the central government should have a appointed Rajya Sabha Member for their welfare.

3.      Just like the identification card people of Indian origin been given to Tamilians settled in foreign countries the same way people of Tamil origin should be given to Tamilians who are living in foreign countries who make 2% of the total world population.

4.      The Central and State Government should come forward to help in organising World Tamilar Festival by extending invitation to Tamilians all around the world so that our traditions and arts will be known and understood by the foreign tamilians.

5.      The Central Government should help the Tamilians settled abroad to learn Tamil.
