CHENNAI, May 2018 - Tamara Leisure Experiences is proud to launch the newest property in the Tamara brand of resorts.La Providence is a spectacular colonial building historically known to be one of the first to come up in Kodaikanal. Today restored and expanded into a getaway tucked away amongst some of the most beautiful hills in south India, The Tamara Kodai is the perfect amalgamationof heritage and luxury experiences. 

The Tamara Kodai promises luxury accommodation, each suite boasting of a bedroom with large balcony, living room, and an attached bathroom. 53 suites of French provincial design have been painstakingly and tastefully designed to take guests back to a time when La Providence was a monastic retreat.

• La Providence

Designed in the original La Providence building, this restaurant has been converted to a decadent restaurant, set to put out a lavish buffet including everything from international favourites to traditional and local Indian cuisine. The restaurant also features a live kitchen counter to provide fresh, piping hot food straight off the stove, to your plate. 

La Providence is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a buffet spread as well as an à la carte menu. Our gourmet chefs will be sure to take care of cravings for any kind of cuisine, leaving you satiated and satisfied, every time.

● Bistro 1845 is a French style à la carte bistro and bar, serving the best of European, Asian and Indian cuisine. With cozy settings both indoors and outdoors, this vintage-themed resto-bar is sure to take you back in time.

• Levinge Lounge

The Tamara Kodai is home to the only temperature-controlled pool and bar in Kodaikanal. The pool itself is 40 feet in length, maintained at the perfect temperature, with a kids area of a lower depth on one end. Set at the highest vantage point on the property, the Levinge Lounge overlooks a heart-stopping view of the valley below, ideal for some post-swim rest and relaxation!

In keeping with a commitment to luxury experiences, the property also provides a separate in-room dining menu and 24-hour room service that allowsguests the enjoyment of a snack or a meal in the comfort of their room at any time!

Located in the historical La Providence building in Kodaikanal, The Tamara Kodai launched in May 2018 and is set to transform tourism in Kodaikanal. It includes 53 suites of French provincial design, tastefully created to take you back to a time when La Providence was a monastic retreat.

The resort houses many facilities, including a French-styled dining bistro, an all-day dining restaurant, and conference facilities including a ballroom able to accommodate over 200 guests. TRIVANDRUM PROJECT

This business hotel located in Trivandrum, Kerala, will comprise of 154 rooms. The first  phase  will  become  operational  with  80  keys  and  amenities  including  a convention centre, a specialty  restaurant,  an  all-day  dining  restaurant,  fitness centre, party lawn, and infinity pool. Construction is in progress and is expected to be completed in 2018. 

GURUVAYOOR PROJECT

Guruvayoor in Kerala is the site for a hotel under construction consisting of 36 rooms, a marriage hall with the capacity for 300 guests, restaurant, and a separate dining area. The project is expected to be completed in 2019.

LILAC

This hotel project, comprising of 20 rooms and a large meeting space will be located in Jayanagar, Bangalore. It is expected to be completed in 2018.
