Review :

Thaana Serndha Kootam is the story of how eligible candidates are denied job due to corruption and how talented youngsters are struggling due to unemployment. Suriya is the son of Thambi Ramaiah who works as a clerk in Income Tax office. Suriya wants to become a IT official, however his dream is shattered by a senior officer Suresh Menon due to a personal vengeance with Thambi Ramaiah.

Meanwhile, Suriya’s friend Kalaiarasan committs suicide after he is not able to give bribe to become a police official. After these incidents, Suriya forms a team with the help of Ramya Krishnan, Senthil, Sathyan and dance master Shiva Shankar. This team starts targeting people who had evaded tax and swindle their black money by using Suresh Menon’s name. A team headed by Karthik is formed to find who is using Suresh Menon’s name. Did Karthi find out about Suriya, what the hero did with the money forms the rest of the story.

Suriya has a complete changeover in this film from his previous movies and looks fresh and young. He has a calm role and impresses the audience with his charm. Keerthi Suresh who plays Suriya’s love interest in the movie looks homely and grabs the attention of the audience. With a huge star cast director Vignesh Shivan has brought the best that is needed for their respective characters. Music by Anirudh is one of the major strengths of the movie. TSK is a family entertainer with a social message.
