Natraj Speaks About Richie

It takes a very confident actor who is full of self belief to not only do the lead role but also take up any challenging and interesting role that will be on par with the male protagonist. ‘Natty’ Natraj who shot to fame as an actor with his super hit ‘Sathuranga Vettai’ is all set for his next release ‘Richie’ on December 8th. 

Speaking about ‘Richie’ , Natraj says, “ ‘Richie’ is a very interesting script with every character written so beautifully. I play the role of a  boat mechanic which is very parallel to the lead role which is played by Nivin Pauly, who plays the title role Richie.  I am very choosy when it comes to choosing a script. Mine is a performance oriented, prominent role in ‘Richie’ which has been very strongly written by director Gautham Ramachandran. I am someone who believes that the strength of the character I play is more important than the screen presence it gets. In that way I am very happy with the way my character and this whole script has been made. I am sure audience will love ‘Richie’ every bit from December 8th “

‘Richie’ is directed by Gautham Ramachandran and produced by Anand Kumar and Vinod Shornur of ‘Cast N Crew’. This movie will be released ‘Trident Arts’ Ravindran who has been on a roll with consecutive hits. Nivin’s this first straight Tamil movie will have Ajaneesh Loknath’s music and Pandi Kumar’s cinematography. Shraddha Srinath plays Nivin Pauly's pair and Prakash Raj, Raj Bharath and LakshmiPriya Chandramouli have played important supporting characters in the movie. The movie is all set to be released on December 8th.
