Review :

Nenjil Thunivirundhal written and directed by Suseenthiran. Shot in Tamil and Telugu, the film features Sundeep Kishan, Mehreen Pirzada and Vikranth in the lead roles, with Soori and Harish Uthaman also in a pivotal role. Featuring music composed by D. Imman

Sundeep Kishan, along with his friends Soori and Vikranth, runs a catering service. He makes his younger sister to study medicine as he lost his father because of the wrong treatment given by fake doctors. Vikranth and Sundeep’s sister love each other without his knowledge. In the meantime, Harish Uthaman, a henchman, targets to kill Vikranth and Sundeep. Does the duo escape from him, what is the motive behind Harish’s intention. Did the lover couple join together forms the rest of the story.

Sundeep has delivered some extraordinary performance understanding his character and has been able to emote friendship, love, emotional and action sequences with ease. Similarly, Vikranth has fit in his role and has supported the course of the movie well. The main female lead Mehreen Pirzada looks gorgeous and has also given a subtle performance. Harish Uthaman terrorises as the antagonist with his getup.Comedy by Soori invokes laughter at times but falls flat in most portions.

Suseenthiran, as always, maintains a constant speed in the screenplay and has tried to convey multiple social messages. This at times stops the flow in the movie.Music by D Imman is average and the BGM could have been done a little better. Nenjil Thunivirundhal is a commercial movie with a social message.

Rating - 2.5/5
