'Puriyaadha Pudhir' starring 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathy, Gayathri, Mahima Nambiar and directed by debutant director Ranjith Jeyakodi, has hit the screens today (Sep 1st ). 'JSK film corporation' J Sathish kumar ever known for his vision and belief on content oriented films and 'Rebel Studio' have produced this movie. After overcoming many hurdles and now succefully running in theatres, 'Puriyadha Pudhir' team opened on the factors related to the movie.

"I worked as the assistant director to director Ram. I wrote this script even before the advent of Whatsapp in the year 2009. Even though we finished shooting 'Puriyadha Pudhir' in 60 days , we couldn't avoid the delay that is inevitable in any business where huge money is involved. This movie was started much before Vijay Sethupathy became very big. I now have a script ready for his present status. I would definitely do that movie with him if he gives me another oppurtunity. My forthcoming movies will also be thrillers" said Ranjit Jeyakodi.

" I signed 'Puriyadha Pudhir' even before i did 'Kuttram 23'. Even though I am not the heroine in this movie I didn't want to miss our on a good script. To maintain a suspense I was told by the director not to reveal my participation in this movie. I am very happy to have done this movie" said Mahima Nambiar. 

"I watched this film last year and wanted to buy it from Rebel studio and release it for the last pongal festival. Due to some issues that didn't happen. Vijay Sethupathy's movies have been coming out regularly and his stature has also improved leaps and bounds. Now we decided to make use of it and released  'Puriyadha Pudhir ' Generally the financial settlements will be done at the last moment  but without any prior information to us fefsi have gone to the court. We settled all the issues last night only so it took some time to get the clearance. That is the reason why the morning shows were cancelled today. This movie talks about the current culture of sharing unwanted stuffs in mobile phones. We have released this 'Puriyadha Pudhir' in about 294 theatres. We have got very good response for the movie so far. We have planned to bring out our list of movies  'Andava kaanom' ,'Mummy', 'Vaa Deal' in the coming months " said J Sathish Kumar.Cast of 'Puriyadha pudhir' , Vijay Sethupathy, Arjunan, Nandakumar, 'R J' Ramesh and the movie's music director Sam C.S were present.
