Review :

Mupparimanam romantic thriller film written and directed by Adhiroopan. The film stars Shanthanu Bhagyaraj and Srushti Dange in the leading roles, with Skanda Ashok, Ravi Prakash and Thambi Ramaiah in supporting roles. Featuring music composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar and cinematography by Rasamathi.

Mupparimanam is an interesting romantic drama.The leading stars Shanthanu Bhagyaraj and Srushti Dange in this film who are neighbors are childhood friends. Shantanu's father is a policeman. Srushti Dange's evil brother is a fire racialist. Once when a couple in his village of different castes married each other, he dared to killed them because of his racialism, this led to his arrest by Shanthanu's
father and both the families had a riot because of this. Shushti's father who has a good political background transferred Shanthanu's father to a different place releasing his son Raviprakash from the jail. This resulted in a split of both hero and heroin and they are shifted to different places.

After some years, Shantanu's family again shifted back to Pollachi. Shantanu is again trying to create a relationship with Srushi who is in XIIth standard now and finally becoming lovers. After completing her XII Shrusti is going to chennai to pursue her further studies to a medical college. Besides studies, she is meeting Santhanu who  goes to chennai often. Shrusti's parents when knowing about this affair is creating more problems in  their life. Having more concerned about the heroine, the hero decides to leave her. He became a drunkard and goes to a stage where he has to be admitted in a hospital for rehabilitation. At the day of discharge was the marriage of Shrusti with Skanda ashok.  This time, comes the real twist in the story when  hero enters and  kidnaps the heroine and after a few chases comes the real twist that is truly hard hitting leading to an emotional climax. Why the hero is kidnapping the heroine? What makes the heroine hate the hero??

Shanthanu and Srushti have taken a daring role. Yes, both of their roles are challenging. Especially, Srushti’s role has a lot of perception and she should be appreciated for choosing this complicated character. Adhiroopan Perfect Screenplay and direction. GV Prakash Music  is good.
