Review :

Bad luck Pandian (Sibiraj) has one of the worst lucks. All that he does ends up in disaster. However, his family believes that all will be well, if he married a girl whose name starts with C. Pandian meets Meenu (Aishwarya Rajesh), they get along well and eventually fall for each other. However, Pandian’s father is against their union. The two elope and get married. Life gets tough for the two as they are unable to make ends meet.

Meanwhile, Kattappa is a vaasthu fish, also known as lucky fish in the movie. Kattappa is owned by Sura, a local thug who thinks that all good things are coming to him because of this lucky fish. He is also a strong believer of Vaasthu. One fine night, Kattappa is stolen from his house. Sura loses all that he has earned so far – money, status and his ambition to become a politician. So he set up men to track down Kattappa and bring it back to him. As chance happens Pandian lands with Kattappa and along with it comes some more problems. He loses his job, he and Meenu have a clash, their house is invaded by three gongs and so on. Does bad luck Pandi have good time in his life? Does Sura track him down and spare him?

Sibiraj fit into the protagonist role. He is active and lively. He has done his best in the entire episode. Aishwarya Rajesh is a big catch in the flick. Kaali Venkat is at his best as usual. Chandini’s role in the movie is more like an extended cameo. One of the negative aspects of the movie is the excessive use of double meaning dialogues. This is present right from the beginning till the end. Santosh has also done a near job in the background score. Cinematography by Anand Jeeva is a delight. The entire movie is colourful thanks to him.
