DooPaaDoo In Pongal Paadal

DooPaaDoo is excited to launch a Pongal Paadal, a special song to celebrate the wonderful farmers, the harvest season and our Thamizh culture. The song is sung, written and composed by Velmurugan, the quintessential, Edison award-winning playback singer.

Born in Neyveli and shot to fame through Subramaniapuram, he has captured our hearts and ears through his folk songs, Aadungada Machaan, Bale Pandiya, Otha Sollaala and many more.

DooPaaDoo is proud to team up with the talented, Velmurugan to bring this brand new song for the Pongal season to all its listeners. A song with nothing but his voice and the instrument, ‘Parai’, a song that celebrates the culture of Thamizh Nadu, this special Pongal song is a means of reminiscing the harvest festival irrespective of where we live.

DooPaaDoo will continue to release one song of Velmurugan every week throughout the month of January. It is an extended Pongal celebration at DooPaaDoo!
