Review :

Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru also promoted as D-16, is a Tamil thriller film directed by Karthick Naren, starring Rahman in the leading role. Music and background score will be done by Jakes Bejoy.

Actor Rahman plays a role of the protogonist cop who works coherently in Coimbatore.  When he arrived at the station in in the morning, he found a man lying shot dead on the road.  At the same time, there were some blood streaks and traces in a house in the area where the murder took place with an information of a woman missing.  All happening in the same location.

The story was so mysterious with a lot of queries in it.  Who is that man who is shot dead on the road.  Is it a suicide or a cold-blooded murder? Who is that missing woman? Has she really been kidnapped.  Rahman enters into the investigation zone with a constable who has recently joined.

Have they finally found the murderer, has the missing case been solved, how far the thrill been carried on this film and the freaky coincidences in the movie is what takes the movie ahead.  Young Director Naren has given a murder mystery movie, proving his talent by making the viewers sit at the edge of their seats and carrying the same josh from the start to the end of the movie.  This brutal murder has been viewed in all aspects maintaining the suspect handling in different views in a beautiful manner.  Rahman has once again proved his calibre acting as a cop in this movie handling every scene of it tactfully without straining much proving his excellence as an actor.

Delhi Ganesh, Prakash, Santhosh Krishna, Kaarthikeyan, praveen, Yashika, Bala haasan, Vinoth varma, etc. has also done their roles well adding on diamonds to the crown.  Editor Sreejith Saarang is also appreciable.  Sujith saarang has exceled as a cameraman giving life to every scene with Jakes Bijoy's music adding on glory to the movie.

Verdict : Dhruvangal Padhinaaru Is A Perfect Crime Thriller
