Language Is Not Necessary For Artists - Says Bobby Simha in ‘Aavani Poovarangu’ Festival


‘Aavani Poovarangu’ is one of the biggest Onam Festival in Tamilnadu, which was celebrated in a grand manner on October 8th and 9th at Pachaiyappas College premises. The glorious event that was organized by the Confederation of Tamilnadu Malayalee Associations (CTMA), has marked the presence of Honorable members of (CTMA) Sri. M P Purushothaman (President of Honor, CTMA), Sri. Gokulam Gopalan (Chairman, CTMA), Sri. M A Salim (President CTMA), Sri V C Praveen (Chairman - Aavani Poovarangu) and Dr. A V Anoop (Chairman, JAC) along with thousands of Malayalam speaking People residing in Tamilnadu.   

It is to be noted that Aavani Poovarangu has witnessed the presence of  Legendary singer KJ Yesudas, renowned celebrities Director Hariharan, KS Sethuraman, Director I V Sasi (Allauddinum Arphutha Vilakkum), Actress Seema, Art Director Sabu Cyril, Actor Srinivasan on the first day, and Chief guests  Bobby Simha, Director Lakshmi Ramakrishnan on the closing ceremony. 

“Normally there will be huge support from Malayalam Speaking people for strong content oriented films…In that case, I am quiet confident that our Ammani will break the linguistic borders and travel through all sets of Audience. Unique singer ‘Vaikom’ Vijayalakshmi from Kerala has crooned a beautiful medley in our ‘Ammani’…” says Lakshmi Ramakrishnan, the Director of ‘Ammani’ confidently. 

“I have mostly acted in Tamil films, but when I see this grand welcome given for me by Malayalam Speaking people, I can clearly say that Language is not necessary for Artists…. I am very much glad to be a part of this ‘Aavani Poovarangu’ that celebrates the brotherhood of Tamilnadu and Kerala…I am currently doing a film in Malayalam…Whatever the language of a film, if it is a strong and powerful role, then I love to act in that…” says Bobby Simha in an enthusiastic tone.
