Celebrity Badminton League Match 2 at Gachibowli Stadium
India’s First Celebrity Badminton
League (CBL) - Season 1 Second league match was played at Hyderabad today in Gachibowli
Stadium. CBL Season 1 has Four Celebrity teams representing Tollywood-
Tollywood Thunders, Mollywood- Kerala Royals, Kollywood- Chennai Rockers and Sandalwood-
Karnataka Alps. All the team owners along with the film stars participated with
great enthusiasm to the delight of the audience.
Team (A, B, C, D) was decided by
spin wheel method before the league. The initial league round was played
between Team A Kollywood - Chennai Rockers Vs Team B Mollywood- Kerala Royals
and Team C Sandalwood- Karnataka Alps Vs Team D Tollywood- Tollywood Thunders
Mr. Hemachandran, Founder and CEO,
Celebrity Badminton League commenting on the league match 2 played at Hyderabad said,
“All the team played with good sprit and
put their best efforts to compete with each other and gave a wonderful show
today at Gachibowli Stadium. The
final match will happen in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on November 11th
we will have the opening ceremony / Star Nite and on November 12th Finals
– League will take place at Cheras Stadium Badminton.

The Celebrity Badminton League (CBL)
brought together the entire South Indian film industry in its very first season
and has all indications of becoming a national league by the next edition. The
finals will be in Kuala Lumpur and given the popularity of Southern cinema
there. CBL is sure to witness large number of fans cheering their favourite
