Review : 

Kidaari directed by Prasath Murugesan, starring Sasikumar and Nikhila Vimal in the leading roles. The film, which is also produced by Sasikumar, features Suja Varunee, Vela Ramamurthy play pivoital characters. Darbuka Shiva has scored the music while Kathir cranks the camera.

The film opens with a gory scene where a blood stained hand slowly moves towards the window and moves it rapidly to make some noise, and we see people rushing upstairs to find that the badly wounded man is Kombaiya Pandian (Vela Ramamoorthy), the powerful gangster is Sathur area. The movie's central character Kidaari (Sasikumar) is the right-hand man of Kombaiya Pandian, who controls the entire area and is a terror. Now we are introduced to the world of Kombaiya Pandian and Kidaari through Poiyaali (Mu Ramasamy), who tells us about the rise of Kombaiya and his rival gangs! Who had the courage to attack the cold-blooded Kombaiya in his own house? Kidaari should find out why and who attacked the man!

Kidaari is yet another addition to Sasikumar’s regular rural drama. Right from his entry till the last frame, he has carried the movie on his shoulders and his screen presence works. Nikhila Vimal is a lovely selection in the cast who fits into the role perfectly. Vela Ramamoorthy is impressive as a dreaded gangster. Suja Varunee and Mu Ramasamy do give their best. Kathir’s camera captures the action well, while Darbuka Shiva’s songs suit the mood well. Editing by Praveen Antony is crisp. Kidari is a engaging story of revenge drama with realistic rural backdrop.
