Madan Karky renowned lyricist and co-founder of Doopaadoo has created a single called Desame , a tribute to the nation.

Desame is a wonderful composition by Kaber &Tenma(Kurangan Band), sung by Sakthishree Goplan(Nenjikulle & Naan Nee fame) and Sid Sriram(Adiye & Thallipogathe fame)

 

Desame is about thanking Mother India for all that she has done for this wonderful 1 billion plus population. A feat that is beyond the reach of other countries in such a short span of time.

 

Desame is all about celebrating the spirit of moments that we truly cherished in different stages of our life. 

Desame is a beautiful composition suffused with emotions, melody and soulful energy with the new age patriotic rhythm of India.

 

"A few years ago, I had penned this lyric thanking India, for everything she has given me. The lyric was sleeping in my 'unused lyrics' folder. When I met the young Kurangan band, impressed with their songs, I asked them to come up with a tune for the same. Kaber and Tenma, after composing a beautiful tune for my lyrics, requested Shakthisree and Sid Sriram to sing the song. Shakti and Sid have elevated the song with their rousing rendition. This is our humble tribute to this nation." Says Madhan Karky.
