Hero's Can Act In Short Film If Necessary
This industry has few norms and when someone breaks the ice, either he/she is called names or discouraged. Yashmith breaks the ice with doing short films after debuting in a feature film. That’s quite a bold move to make for an actor who is trying to make a mark in the industry. These kind of actors who come forward supporting the aspiring talents and break the stereotypes, are much appreciated, which gives you a hope. Recently he has done a key role in an upcoming Tamil film “Yendha Nerathilum” directed by debutante Muthu Kumar. But there’s one thing which he was part of became a noteworthy talk of the town, it was a cover video of the song “Chillena Oru Mazhai Thuli” from the blockbuster film “Raja Rani” directed by Atlee.
Past weekend we watched a short film “Master Piece” directed by Sridharan G and produced by Mithras in association with SRAG Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. It had Yashmith in the lead. The film ponders around a fantasy which takes a form in the name of camera and what happens when they click forms the crux of the story. The film was a simple and neat representation of talents coming together for one main reason CINEMA. It also creates an opportunity and feeds the idea of established actors to come forward and support this, in the end content plays a vital role and if that’s right medium doesn’t matter.
