Review :

Velainu Vandhutta Vellaikaaran is directed by Ezhil and is produced by Vishnu Vishal, Rajan Natraj and Ezhil under the banners of Vishnu Vishal Shudioz and Ezhilmaaran Production.The film stars Vishnu and Nikki Galrani in the leading roles,the movie also features Soori. Nikesh Ram, Reshma Pasupuleti, Aadukalam Naren, Robo Shankar and few others. C. Sathya has composed music for the film and Editing is done by Ananda Lingakumar. Shakthi has handled the cinematography.

Murugan (Vishnu) is a close aide of MLA Jacket Jankiraman (Robo Shankar), who shares a good rapport with his senior minister. Before breathing his last, the minister reveals a truth to the MLA about a hidden amount of Rs. 500 crore, which he wants him to distribute to the public. However, the minister's nephew, played by Ravi Mariya, has set his eyes on the money and starts nagging Jacket Jankiraman. Unfortunately, the MLA meets with an accident and loses his memory. On the other hand, the MLA's aide, Murgan, falls in love with Archana (Nikki Galrani) and wants the MLA, who is in coma, to recover fast. What happens next should be seen on the screen.

Vishnu is casual on screen and lets all the talented comedians take center stage. Nikki Galrani has come up with a police officer. The film's major strengths are the genuinely funny characters like the innocent Jacket Janakiraman, who goes to coma and starts behaving like a ten year old kid before inducing thunderous laughter in the climax. Also, Soori who is seen playing as the Pushpa Purushan completely steals the show with his body language and counter dialogues. The sidekick of Ravi Mariya is a cracker and the surprise cameo of Naan Kadavul Rajendran too is sure to put big smile on the face of the audiences. Ezhil exceeds expectations in a big way and proves that there is still. Cinematographer Shakthi has lent a colorful shade to the film. Composer Sathya’s songs like ‘Pappara Mittai’ and ‘Ayyo Paavam’Songs Nice. Overall Velainu Vandhutta Vellaikaaran is a very good family entertainer.
