Review :

Ko 2 written and directed by Sarath, who earlier worked as associate director for Unnaipol Oruvan and Billa II. The film is being produced by Elred Kumar and features Bobby Simha and Nikki Galrani in the leading roles, while Prakash Raj reprises his role from the first film. Music by Leon James. Philip R. Sundar and Venkat M are the cinematographers of the movie. The editing is handled by Kevin.

A man, Bobby Simha kidnaps Chief Minister Yogeeswaran Prakash Raj and demands the police to make the government give him his withdrawaled money, which the bank tor and a few cents that a medical shop had to give. When the Chief Minister asks about his motive, Kumaran narrates his story. During the same time, State Minister's son Bala Saravanan is found unconscious by the police and when he is woken, narrates his story of Kumaran. In Bala's story, he and Kumaran become friends, but are shocked to see that they both love the same girl Nikki Galrani. In Kumaran's story, he explains how Kumaraswamy Nassar, the man who sponsored Kumaran was killed by a politician. The rest of the story reveals who killed Kumarasamy, and why.

Bobby Simha playing the lead surely reflects sincerity in attempting to render a convincing performance. Nikki Galrani taking the lead as heroine does a neat job. Balasaravanan does a good job and has an extended and significant role to play in this drama. Prakash Raj walks us through his character without any difficulty. Special mention for actor Karunakaran, who has attempted to play a serious role and has subsequently suceeded too. Few dialogues are very powerful. Cinematography and music super. Ko 2 is an enjoyable political entertainer with a good message.

Rating - 3/5
