Kadhalum Kadanthu Pogum movie is a Tamil comedy and romantic genre film directed and written by Nalan Kumarasamy. C. V Kumar and K E Gananavel Raja jointly produced this movie under Thirukumaran Entertainment banner. Santosh Narayanan composed music to this film. Vijay Sethupathi and Madonna Sebastian have played lead roles. P Samuthirakani, GM Sundar, D R
Kiran and Rindhu Ravi have played supporting roles in this film. The movie cinematography has been done by Dinesh Krishnan, edited by Leo John Paul.

Kathir (Vijay Sethupathi) is a rowdy, whose only aim is to run a bar on his own. He is just back from five years of prison life and it was for his area councilor, who promised him to provide a posh life. Then, we have Yazhini (Madonna Sebastian) who ran away from her home town Vilppuram to achieve her career in IT sector. Unfortunately she loses her IT job during recession and due to financial crisis, she stays in the small flat opposite Kathir. The rest of the film is all about how
these two people with drastically different dreams gel with ease and develop a liking for each other. The main theme of the story deals with a struggle of an unemployed woman engineer and her journey to success.

Especially, Vijay Sethupathi outstanding performance is making audience very enjoyment. Madonna Sebastian also sacked the hearts of audience by showing her performance and beauty. Comedy is also one of the highlights of the movie and youth also attracted by some romantic elements. Santosh Narayanan has scored wonderful music. Samuthirakani, G M Sundar, D R Kiran and Rindhu Ravi etc also showed their marvelous performance.Dinesh Krishnan’s scintillating visuals and Leo John Paul’s apt cuts only enhance all the above said positives.Kadhalum Kadanthu Pogum is a feel-good entertainer and has a good story.
