Petite Princess Chennai Season 2 Finalists Ramp Walk Photos

Olhiyum Oliyum Entertainment presents to you, yet again, NAC Jewellers - PETITE PRINCESS CHENNAI, Season 2, a pageant for girls below 5’6” of height. While the ramps across the world are open for tall girls above 5’7”, we aim to revamp and revolutionize the fashion scene, giving all PRETTY, PETITE GIRLS a platform to be in the spotlight. Well, as our tag line goes, WHY SHOULD TALL GIRLS HAVE ALL THE FUN??? More than 500 participants registered for the auditions this season. As the initial rounds of auditions progressed, after various levels of scrutiny and interview, 34 participants were selected for the semi-finals.  Following that, the Grand Auditions in September, 2015 witnessed the unveiling of our 12 Finalists by Director Balaji Mohan along with Actress Sanchitha Shetty.

 

Olhiyum Oliyum Entertainment made special arrangements to train the finalists in the field of fashion, personality development, fitness, yoga and self-defence, acting, beauty, and much more. Modelling Workshops with Super Model Aishwarya Suresh, Fashion Choreographer Karun Raman, Fitness Instructor Jaya Mahesh etc. were organized for the finalists to provide them with abundant industry experience and help them perfect their skills.

The Grand Finale on 24th JANUARY, 2016 saw the happily-ever-after to this princess story. The 12 Finalists walked the ramp, danced and performed showcasing exquisite gold and diamond jewellery by our title sponsors, NAC Jewellers. The Who's Who of the Arts, Fashion, and Film industries like Costume Designer Joy, Model co-ordinator Thaara Umesh, Publisher Aruna were present to judge our gorgeous Finalists. Hip Hop Tamizha Aadhi entertained and got the crowd into the groove by performing hit singles from his albums.

 

The title winner, Raina was crowned by Actor Vikram Prabhu along with Mr. Anand from NAC Jewellers. The other prizes and subtitles were given away by gliterrati of the silver screen such as Director Atlee, Art Director Ilayaraja who graced the occasion. Apart from the other perks and cash prizes that accompany the title, the Winners also land the opportunity to shoot with ace photographer, G. Venket Ram, walk the ramp for Fashion Choreographer Karun Raman and also feature in a Leading Magazine.

With an aim to bring about a change, starting small, wanting our girls to be ECO-ELEGANT, saplings were given away to all the Guests and Judges. This season’s journey and Grand Finale will be telecast on Star Vijay as we unveil the best talents.  Thank you for joining us in this spectacular evening of fashion, glitz and glamour.
