Review : 

Kanmani Directed some other movies in Telugu and Finally back in Tamil Movies with his upcoming Comedy Horror Movie Peigal Jaakkirathai. This movie is Produced by G.Raghavan from his own production house Sri Sai Sarvesh Entertainment. Escape Artists Motion Pictures owned the Distribution of this movie in Tamilnadu. A new music Director Maria Jerald is introduced to Tamil movie Industry. The lead role in this movie is played by new actors  Jeeva Rathnam and Eshanya Maheshwari along with Thambi Ramaiah, John Vijay, and Motta Rajendran.

The story rounds up with hero who has attempted suicide for 28 times and ends up in failure. However then he manages to live with Thambi Raamaiya who is afraid of ghosts. In the movie the person who are possessed by the ghosts will forget their closed ones but the possessed ghosts will be close to whom they loved. In that case the number of four spirits are possessing into hero’s body. In order to overcome the situation hero proceeds to help the ghosts to attain their wish but only at the end the hero comes to know that the possessed ghosts are his family who died in a car accident when he was young. And finally movie ends up with hero realizing rue love and took a picture with his family.

The movie’s plus is said to be Thambi Ramaiya’s timing comedy. The negative side of the movie is that the script is quite old horror type one and the narration of the movie could have been even better by deleting some unwanted scenes. Overall ‘Peigal Jaakirathai’ is an usual com-horror.
