Aval Winning Short Film in Stone Bench Creations

Aval written and directed by Vijay Varadharaj is a story of a rape victim's courage, anger and a will to live on. The protagonist of Aval is a reflection of the state of women in our society and the abuse/threat they face from time to time. The film is a powerful and poignant perspective on what a rape victim goes through after the traumatic incident and how she decides to proceed with her life thereon. Aval was the winning film of the Being Independent Short Film Contest conducted by Stone Bench Creations which was judged by Karthik Subbaraj, RS Prasanna and SU Arun Kumar.
