Velammal's Onam Celebration Photos

Velammal Vidyalaya, Paruthipattu, avadi celebrated Onam in all its grandeur. The highlight of it was the extravagant display of flowers through the majestic pookalam. This vibrant art of Rangoli, exhibited was fabricated by 60 students in 60 minutes covering an expansive 3600 square feet. This intricate floral arrangement was dedicated to the year of health.

Mr. Nanda Govind, immediate past President of the State confederation of  Tamil Nadu, graced the occasion with his presence and delivered an inspiring message. Students brought out their talents with flam buoyant songs awe-inspiring art and a graceful dance. Which created a traditional ambience.

Staff and students clad in the traditional onam saree and the customary onamchittada added essence to the festive mood.

The resplendent festival celebrations came to an end leaving cheerful memories and amused passers-by who stopped just to gaze at the charming array of colors of the mega pookalam.
