The Royalty India celebrated First Anniversary with Fashion Show and Fundraiser

The Royalty India, a unique tabloid aimed at the youth, celebrated its first anniversary with a fashion show and fundraiser on August 14, 2015 at the Crowne Plaza Chennai Adyar Park.

The exclusive invite-only anniversary event, beginning at 7:30pm, will benefit the Guild of Service Home for the Handicapped. Chennai’s elite including industrialists, entrepreneurs, socialites and entertainment personalities were among the guests present.

The fashion show was produced in association with Satya Paul and GenX designer duo, Studio 9696, who had specially curated a line inspired by Satya Paul fabrics for the event. The show, choreographed by Priya Manikandan, featured Anshul Pandey (actor), Sonia Agarwal (actress), Divya Darshini (anchor and presenter), Karun Raman (choreographer and stylist), Nirupama (socialite), Prabhu Laxman (edupreneur), Sneha Nair (socialite) and Vimmi Deepak (socialite).

To help raise awareness about the Guild of Service, the finale of the fashion show had stars walking down the ramp with children from the home. Representatives from the Guild of Service were present at the venue and the invitees were welcome to donate any amount.

Speaking about the event, Roshni S Hemdev, founder of The Royalty India, said “The main idea of celebrating the anniversary is the cause that we have attached to it. Helping these children in their day-to-day lives only adds to our celebration. I believe no celebration is complete without giving back. This is my way of doing so. Come help me help them.”
