Kola Bhaskar Clarifies Unnecessary Issue

Ace director Selvaraghavan is known for his legendary collaborations with his technical crew members be it composer Yuvan Shankar Raja or DoP Arvind Krishna or editor Kola Bhaskar. Kola Bhaskar has been a constant in the Selva camp from the days of 7G Rainbow Colony to the recent Irandam Ulagam. Selva has also penned the story and screenplay for Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam, which is a Kola Bhaskar production where his son is being introduced as the lead hero. The post production of this film is going on now and we can expect it to hit the screens soon.

There have been some rumors and derogatory reports being circulated since the past few days in some media circles that there is a rift between Kola Bhaskar and Selvaraghavan and that they are not on good terms of late.

Kola clarifies the same and maintains that their relationship is as healthy as ever. He sounds perturbed and upset by this unnecessary issue,

"Selva and myself go back a long way and he is my one true friend in the industry. Initially I thought that I needn't talk about such baseless reports but such talks are gaining intensity and causing a lot of pain and heartbreak for me. This is a needless act on the part of the rumor mongers.

We meet daily, go to different places and discuss a lot about our film projects. Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam is in the edit stage and post-production is going on at a fast clip. For this movie and Kaan, my assistant Rukesh is taking care of the edits but this doesn't mean that my equation with Selva has changed.

I hope that such talks would stop immediately. Nothing can hamper my friendship and relationship with Selva."

As Kola Bhaskar says, such petty talks ought to stop immediately. Lets celebrate their partnership and hope for more collaborations from them in the near future.
