From Petta rap to Patta Gaana…. Pugazh is a mix of music

Jai-Surabhi starrer Pugazh’s Audio which  was released by Vetrimaran is topping the playlist. The film, directed by ManiMaran is produced by Sushant Prasad of Film Department and will be presented by Varun Manian's Radiance Media. The music combo of Vivek – Mervin has rendered best of their efforts once again after Vadacurry. The young duo excited in revealing their experiences with the film ‘Pugazh’.

 “We are very  much  happy to getting back the golden combo Hariharan sir and Chitra mam to sing the duet track ‘Ninaivil Viizhundavalo’. The legendary singer were so professional with us and treated us with much respect. On very contrary part we have introduced RJ Balaji and Tuppakeys as singers. The song is a motivational song crippled with one liners that went socially virally as rap. This song ‘Podu Podu’ was written by FM fame RJ Balalji .” exhilarates , Vivek Siva, one of the duo from Vivek – Mervin combo.   

 “ We are very much proud to have introduced  ‘Tumhiho’song fame Arijit singh in Tamil. We actually approached him from Vadacurry days for ‘Nenjukullae nee’. But he was hesitant then. When Pugazh happened we again approached Arjit Singh this time time with much stronger tune that he couldn’t. And Arijit sung the melody ‘Neeyae’ written by  Na.Muthukumar. Anirudh’s voice was needed for the song ‘Naanga Podiyan’ to sing along with Diwakar. He was very friendly and completed the whole song within 30 minutes.” Added Mervin Solomon.  

  “ ‘Pugazh’ album is a mix of contemporary, classical coloured songs performed by debutants, popular and legendary singers. We are very much happy to be a part of Pugazh. Director explains every situation as simple as it can be converted into a tune. The lyric writers were also so  co-operative and helpful.  Director Manimaran was very much easy to go on person. He encourages, motivates and gets  the work done. This script is full of realistic scene and backdrop, the background score will get unique attention. The script has lot of area where background score excels itself to keep the emotions running. Hope everyone enjoys the film Pugazh . ” Chorused the duo.
