The restaurant & café space at etc. started off with a simple idea. We wanted to create a gastronomic experience that brings together different tastes we have enjoyed – a traditional cuisine specific to a geographical region, a secret recipe that has been in the family for years, a dish that evokes memories of all the good times etc.

As self-confessed food fanatics, we have had many expectations in the course of our food journey. Some great ideas, an innovative twist that could have turned an ordinary meal into an experience, a pinch of this or that transforming a dish into an ‘aha moment’!

Etc is a culmination of all those inspirations, our tribute to the foodie in you. Without the boundaries of a set cuisine, we offer a culinary rite of passage. From cheese coquettes to chicken tikkas, pastas to biryani, hakka noodles to nachos, our specialty is diversity!

But food is just one part of the versatile experience we want to create. You could get good food at a dozen places in the city. What we promise is a blowing-your-mind-away experience, in the way we have crafted our offerings beyond our multi-cuisine, fine dining restaurant.

Versatile is the word best used to describe Ravoofa Kamal. From being a food connoisseur to starting a restaurant today, Ravoofa has travelled an interesting path. Envision and execute an haute couture boutique? Done. Design costumes for block-buster TV shows? With eyes blindfolded. Manage a production house? Child’s play. Direct high voltage television series? All in a day’s work!

Being associated with leading names like Vijay TV and stellar shows like the Super Singer series, Samayal and Vijay Music Awards has sculpted Ravoofa into who she is today – someone who can go to the moon and back in a day with no fuss.

In the role of menu mentor & kitchen guru, Ravoofa inspires the entire team at etc to go that extra mile, and then some!

 

Strong & silent, Prathima Cuppala is the operational genius behind etc. With a strong eye for detail and unerring knowledge of décor & infrastructure, she excels in ensuring the cogs of etc sync & run well together.

With a diverse background in Psychology, Sociology and Social Work, and life experiences from her life across 4 continents, Ramithra Mohandass is best known as the spiritual trailblazer of etc. She brings to the table unerring wisdom on the functioning of etc as well as existential guidance on the larger purpose that etc is to fulfil.
