Blue Ocean Film & Television Academy Inauguration Stills

Film and Media Studies is an interdisciplinary program that focuses on the history, theory, and criticism of cinema and other moving image media. Blue Ocean Film & Television Academy (BOFTA) is a one such newly elevated institute to indoctrinate the dexterity and technique of acting, film making/direction, screenplay writing, digital cinematography, digital film editing, film journalism, film production management, and television program management.

BOFTA is a leading institute where the prominent professionals who are big notables in Tamil industry like Director K. Bhagyaraj, Director Parthiban, Director Vijay, Director Pandiyaraj, Director Mahendran, Editor B. Lenin , Madhu Ambat and many rare combination of adroit from the new age of media industry are the facuilties.

On 1st of July they are starting their first batch of academic year with hundred plus future media pillars. The students enrolled themselves in BOFTA and marched to the classroom to convert their interest and passion to their Profession.

The Guests and the Faculties all had a similar thought and expressed that no one had an Institute like BOFTA when they started their media carrier in their initial stage and the students were blessed to have such a forum.
