SIIMA Awards 2015 On August
The biggest and the most anticipated South Indian International Movie
Awards- SIIMA is back with its 4th edition of awards on the
6th& 7th August in Dubai.
Taking the South Indian Movie industry onto a global platforms, SIIMA
nomination process is executed by a panel of veteran judges from Tamil, Telugu,
Kannada and Malayalam industries, followed by online voting for the final
verdict of winner selections.
This year, leading with the highest number of nominations in various
select categories of Tamil order are VelaiyillaPattathari
(VIP) and Kaththi.
VelaiyillaPattathari is a Tamil Masala film
directed by Velraj, featuring Dhanush and Amala Paul which is leading the Tamil order with 9 nominations in
categories like Best Actor and Best Actress etc. Breaking even with 9
nominations is AR Murugadoss directed
action-drama film- Kaththi starring IlayathalapathyVijay and Samantha nominated in the categories of Best Actor, Best Actress
and Best Director etc.
Being one of the largest centres of film production,
the Tamil movie industry witnesses a line-up of the best movies of the South,
Amongst the nominations for the Best film in Tamil order are Goli Soda, Jigarthanda, Madras,
VelaiyillaPattathari and Kaththi.
Competing in a close round for the category of Best
Actor are Dhanush, Vijay, Karthi,
Siddharth and Vijay Sethupathiwhile the leading ladies in the category of
Best Actress are Hansika, Amala,
Samantha, Lakshmi Menon and Vedhika. The Best Director category has
nominations from the likes of Pa Ranjith
(Madras), AR MurugadossKaththi), Vijay (Saivam), Vijay Milton (Goli Soda) and
Karthik Subbaraj (Jigarthanda).
Coming this August to Dubai on the 6th& 7th
August, by bringing together the best of South Film Industry, SIIMA would
witness the best of Entertainment being awarded. Opening to public voting on June 17th
(Wednesday), fans could vote for their favourite stars and movies on our
official website- www.siima.in .
