Oliyum Oliyum Challenging Film For Salony

Salony, the heroine from Sarabham fame has recently completed shooting for a very challenging film called Oliyum Oliyum, where she plays a street vendor in pondicherry city and she is blind. Her character is of a very self respecting girl who does not any sympathy of anyone and is an independent girl and does not consider her blindness as a handicap. 

" Yes it was a very challenging role but I enjoyed doing it as it gave me a understanding of a lot of things." our Dop  Arul Vincent ( former Associate of PC Shreeram) wanted a very real feel.. So I sat in the pondicherry sun on the streets to get the texture and look of the character.. It was very interesting as I landed up selling hair clips and battery to the local ladies who dint realise it was a shoot.  My Co Actor in the film is John who is from London and this happens to be his first film and a very good Actor.. It was great experience to work for the Nobel cause if Eye donation.
