Leon James - from Ghost to ko

Digital age is mix of happenings and opportunities. It was the luck kollywood’s chance to get one more talented youngster through one such digital medium. Leon James who made his  debut in the film Kanchana-2 have got the opportunity through his Single track ‘ Vaaya Yen Veera ‘ floated in youtube. The young music director who had been a part of in numerous performances all over the world along with eminent musicians from the Indian film music arena. The Music Director is on full throttle for his next film KO-2  produced by RS Infotainment.

 “ I am playing piano since the age of 4. I was always inclined towards extra-curricular activities in school and been part of popular bands like ‘Zinx’ along with Music Director Anirudh. Later I was paying with ‘ ‘Bass-in- Bridge, Groove#3 and ‘Project Yuj’. I was blessed to work for AR Rahman sir as a vocalist in my earlier days and I was also working with Santosh Narayanan sir as a Keyboardist” Says the erst while freelance keyboardist Leon.

“ I got my chance in Kanchana - 2 through one of my compostion ‘Vaaya Yen Veera’ that was uploaded in youtube a year ago. Audiences response for the songs ‘Vaaya  Yen Veera’ and ‘Sandi Muni’ in the film Kanchana- 2 have got me good entry in to the  music industry. The huge success of 'Kanchana' had given me the spirit of musical confidence.  I have signed in for R S Infotainment's  KO-2 starring Bobby Simha.This film give me a royal feel !!! Right from my child hood i was fascinated by ghost stories and obsessed with Kings. Not just co incidence that my first film was a ghost thriller and my second film is titled 'KO2' which means King in English.” signed off the young hand some music director Leon James.
